Matt & Amy - The Upper House, Stafordshire

Amy and Matt are a gorgeous couple and their wedding day was full of beautiful sunlight, treasured moments and lovely people. Amy's eyes sparkled their intense blue all day and Matt couldn't believe he was so lucky to have her as his bride. I knew Amy from when we were little and our families had beach huts next to each other in a stunning little place called Nefyn in North Wales. I spent most of my bank holidays, half terms and summer holidays playing on that beautiful beach and it was an absolute joy to be asked to photograph Amy's wedding even though we hadn't seen each other in a long time. It was like no time had passed at all.

The wedding had a soft pink palette for flowers and bridesmaid dresses and everything else was classic, subtle and well thought out. Make up was kept natural and fresh by Fiona at Fiona Bridal MUA and hair was elegant and soft from the brilliant Vicky at Vicky M Hair. The Upper House was a wonderful place to have as a venue with a big, bright ceremony room, welcoming staff, well kept grounds perfect for bridal portraits and a lawn ideal for playing games on. All in all, the day seemed perfect to me!
